Join Sandra for another fabulous accelerated learning workshop.
Over 4 days – for and hour a day, you’ll be able to work along with Sandra and discover her techniques for creating this beautiful female portrait in pastels. Your finished size will be A4. This workshop will be about using pitt pastel pencils. You’ll learn how to create stunning portraits and understand skin toning and shadows. Plus you’ll be able to revisit this workshop at any time in the future to rediscover the techniques you’ll be shown.
MATERIALS:
Faber-Castell Pitt artist pastel pencils in 101 white, 103 ivory, 131 + 132 flesh colours, 169 caput mortuum, 186 ginger colour, 175 dark sepia.
My paper is Clairefontaine Pastelmat A4 in Maize.

I had tried to work in pastels but never got the hang of it. After this workshop with Sandra Temple I can’t wait to do more. It is the most satisfying piece of art that I’ve done. Step by step, Sandra showed how to build the picture and gave suggestions that help improve technique. I so enjoyed this workshop and consider this portrait the best piece I’ve done. Thanks, Sandra.
