This mornings trip was ta Avebury Standing Stones. A true Henge and with so many stones still in place it was great. I sat in tha devils chair. If She had managed to run 50 times around it, I would have been able to speak to tha devil. Too bad we can’t prove it hey?
Tha other stone with tha sharp looking edges was attacked by “Stonekiller” who went around trying ta deface or knock down standing stones. He tried ta carve some into crosses if he couldn’t move them.
There was a museum ta look in an a manor house ta look in too.
Loved that tha rooms were all filled with different era furniture. No teasels in these chairs buddy.
We had a couple of hours left an decided to make tha whole day a spiritual one with a Stonehenge trip too. Much better than I thought it would be.
Many hours of walking today . I spent most of tha visits in tha backpack havin a snooze. Came out to watch the sun over the henge .
We’ll be headin towards Honiton tomorrow so the travels continue 🙂
