Anotha perfect day here at tha Greyhound Country Inn. Lovin the place, tha
location, tha atmosphere… an She loves the food an tha bed as well! Even got a photo of tha blue sky.
We left for Buckfast Abbey afta breakfast (She says it’s all yummy but as I’m left up in tha room I wouldn’t know now would I?)
Buckfast Abbey was a great place, still used by the monks, it was beautiful…. an had a shop full of stuff made by only abbeys. I wanted Her to get a bottle of ‘Tonic” but she got a booklet instead.
I was allowed out in tha Abbey for a photo an found a plant that looks just like Her hair in tha wind. .
We managed to fit in a xisit ta a coupla artists open studios while we were driving around. Lovely stuff. Tha singin bowls were my fav.
Our search for otters ended up at Dartmoor Otters an Buckhurst Butterflies.
I got up close an personal with one an She bought one home! It better not think it’s getting time on my blog. I’m tha star here ya know. Her name is Olivia, I guess she’s ok.
She tried to take photos of butterflies but tha camera steamed up good an proper so She put it away quick. Watched a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis an saw some big ones.
One more stop for tha day to finish the circuit and it was very hard ta find, tha car park was easy an then no more signs. As usual we asked locals who didn’t have a clue but finally found someone who knew an set off on a marathon hike.
Well worth it just for the owls. There was funny lookin chickens, ducks an geese. Little donkeys an shaggy sheep who didn’t need sheerin. She was suprised it was good being not very many signs.
Tomorrow is a rest day with a roast lunch with Stef. Guess that means lots of borin hooman talking all day. Maybe Olivia and me can chat about hoomans hahaha.
