Wilbur’s Travels – Markets, Puddles and Paint

market 1

This mornin, afta a relaxin breakfast, tha hoomans decided ta go to tha village markets. Each village seems ta hold them on a different day so you can go ta all of them if you like.

As soon as that tried ta speak French, tha young son was sent to deal with us. M&M wanted ta practice French but She was happy ta speak in English.

veges

Look at the fruit an veges on the stall. For tha price of a meal out, they got enough for a week for 5. Some chili and parsley thrown in for free.

There was a meat stall, an a cheese one an a fish one an a chicken one… an lots more.

pastry

Then it was a trip ta tha Patisserie… Malissa might go for bread but She and I prefer the sweet treats.

What a selection of yummy goodness! We ended up with 5 different ones an cut each in three… not 4! Just 3!Selfish they are.

I think I’d KNOW if I didn’t like custard and icing – She stuffed me back in tha bag so I couldn’t argue.

(She has been doin her exercises an eating mostly proper food – not lost any weight as far as I can tell, still a porky in tha middle lol)

cascades

After scoffin cakes (She said it was delicious but as I didn’t HAVE any, I can’t say) they went for a long walk down inta a gully an then up ta tha top of a small mountain ta see a waterfall – they said it was a Petite Cascade but I recon that’s just a fancy name for waterfall.
art

On tha way back we saw our first Atelier (see, I’m gettin Frenchified ) and stopped in ta say hello. Tha artist was Christine Goldsmith an we had a nice chat about Shaun the Sheep, Monty Python and some hooman called Cardahion or somethin.

Hope you are still enjoyin tha journey,  don’t forget ta comment, share and watch this space. See ya tomorrow.
