With tha weather back ta brilliant, we returned ta Escot where I again had a go at makin friends with tha Red Squirrel ‘Flower’. My easy goin Aussie charm an larrikin ways appeared ta work an I got a bit more attention. I think she may be a bit too excitable for tha likes of this young wombat though, I’d never keep up.
Got some poo shots from tha small clawed otters, an watched them behavin like Thorpee in tha water, then got ta say ‘G’day” ta some of tha Birds of Prey. There were a coupla hybrids (deliberate) that were beautiful and chatty.Got some pellets too.
We had a good ol chat about Australia, the crazy one car road lanes an tha ridiculous GPS.
We went inta Honiton later an found a museum. Talk about history! An tha Honiton Lace was stupendous! We walked up an down tha main street in Honiton but no Laundromat was sighted.
